Bournemouth’s relegation to the Championship has of course since seen a whole host of the club’s key performers move on.

Star defender Nathan Ake took his talents to Manchester to link up with Pep Guardiola’s City, no. 1 Aaron Ramsdale replaced Dean Henderson at Sheffield United, whilst Callum Wilson joined Newcastle.

All of Ryan Fraser, Simon Francis and Andrew Surman, meanwhile, departed as free agents following the expiration of their respective contracts.

Perhaps most telling of all, though, was the exit of manager Eddie Howe, who has since been replaced by ex-assistant Jason Tindall.

Hammers switch?

As outlined above, however, if the latest speculation doing the rounds online today is to be believed, then the mass exodus at the Vitality Stadium appears far from over.

Next up? Joshua King.

As per a report from Mike McGrath of the Telegraph, Cherries hitman King is being eyed up by Premier League outfit West Ham United.

In fact, McGrath goes as far as to claim that the Irons have already made contact with the Norwegian himself, to gauge his interest in a move to London.

David Moyes is said to be keen on reinforcing his attacking options before the close of the domestic transfer window this month, with King having emerged as a prime target.

The 28-year-old, who has just a year remaining on his contract at the Vilality, in turn, is keen on a return to the top-flight.

An offer of around £12 million, meanwhile, could prove enough to coax Bournemouth into a sale.
