The latest West Ham team news ahead of Leeds

West Ham vs Leeds United

West Ham United are back in Premier League action on Monday.

The Hammers will play host to Leeds as they look to bounce back from their 2-1 loss to Manchester City last time out.

Said loss was something of a blip for David Moyes and co., who have actually been in great form of late.

However, it also meant that the Hammers have now been knocked out of the Champions League places, temporarily at least.

The Londoners are, as of writing, sat 6th in the English top-flight. But they are just two points adrift of 4th place Chelsea, whom they have a game in hand on.

So, a top-four finish is still very much on the cards, as long as they are able to keep on their recent run.

Picking up a win against Leeds is easier said than done though. Marcelo Bielsa’s side are pretty poor defensively, but can give any side a run for their money when it comes to scoring goals and carving teams open.

David Moyes gives West Ham team news update

Ahead of what should be an entraining affair, David Moyes held his latest press conference on Friday.

During his pre-Leeds presser, the Scotsman would provide a team news update on his side.

And for the most part, it does look to be pretty good news for the Hammers.

Lukasz Fabianski, who missed the clash with Man City, is yet to train but has a chance of featuring on Monday whilst Daren Randolph has s problem with his hip:

“I think we’re pretty much as we were. Lukasz Fabianksi hasn’t trained yet but has got a chance to play. Darren Randolph’s got a problem with his hip and is doing some work in the gym. I’m hoping we’ll have one of them fit by Monday night.”
