Silva, Mendy, Pulisic & more – Lampard provides Chelsea squad update ahead of Southampton

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has this afternoon provided updates on the fitness of a host of his side’s stars, ahead of their upcoming meeting with Southampton.

The Pensioners are set to get their Premier League campaign back underway tomorrow afternoon, following the international break.

Lampard’s men will welcome Southampton to Stamford Bridge, hoping to build on their brief upturn in form.

Chelsea’s last outing, two weeks ago, saw the Londoners finally click into gear, en route to a 4-0 victory over Crystal Palace.

Their opponents this weekend, meanwhile, also headed into the international break with their tails up.

Following a dismal opening to the campaign which saw them fall to defeat in three straight fixtures, Southampton have since bounced back, with consecutive victories over Burnley and West Brom.
