The Foxes head into the tie in superb form.

Granted, a weakened Leicester side did lose to Arsenal in the League Cup last week.

But when they have been at full strength in the league this term, Leicester have looked unplayable at times.

Leicester’s last Premier League outing saw them smash Manchester City 5-2 and before that, the Midlands-based outfit put four past Burnley and three past West Brom.

Rodgers on Vardy, Evans and Praet

Ahead of Sunday’s game, Brendan Rodgers has provided updates on several of his key stars.

Vs Manchester City, both Jamie Vardy and Jonny Evans looked to pick up knocks.

Losing their top scorer and one of their best centre-backs would, of course, be a big blow for Leicester.

However, Rodgers has since confirmed that both players are fine:

“Jonny is fine. Thankfully he just felt it a little tight but it was more having played his first game, so he was okay. And like I said afterwards, Jamie is absolutely fine. He has this little something in his hip which takes a few days to settle down and he’s fine, he’s okay.”

The Leicester boss also provided a brief update on Dennis Praet:

“Dennis, we’ll see how he is.

“He’s trained but we just need to see what the reaction is for that. Obviously he came off but that wasn’t as serious as what we thought.”
