Fulham vs Chelsea
Chelsea will return to Premier League action this coming weekend.
The Blues had been in pretty dire form of late, but were able to pick up a much-needed win over lower-league outfit Morecambe in the FA Cup last time out.
But whilst the Morecambe win should hand the Londoners some confidence, they really need to turn their Premier League form around as soon as possible.
Chelsea are currently all the way down in 9th spot in the English top-flight after picking up just one win from their last four league ties, a staggering 10 points adrift of table-topping Manchester United who picked up a win over Burnley on Tuesday.
Fulham, though, should prove a fairly easy side to beat for Frank Lampard and co., on paper at least.
Scott Parker’s side have won just two league games all season and unlike Chelsea, are in action on Wednesday evening, meaning they should be a lot more fatigued than the Blues this weekend.
Reece James & Andreas Christensen spotted in training
Ahead of the Fulham tie, Chelsea also look to have been handed a boost on the personnel front.
Reece James has had a solid 2020/21 to date, and was forming a solid partnership with Hakim Ziyech on Chelsea’s right flank.
However, James was then dealt an injury blow and has missed Chelsea’s last two league outings.
Ahead of Fulham, though, the full-back looks to have been taking part in regular training.
Chelsea recently posted a snippet of a training session from the senior side and both James and Andreas Christensen, who has also had fitness issues of late, could be seen taking part:
