PSG & Arsenal ‘in dialogue’ over Hector Bellerin/Aouar talks also underway

A host of updates surrounding the transfer business of Premier League giants Arsenal have been forthcoming online this evening.

Gunners making moves

As the 2020/21 campaign inches ever closer, recent days have seen proceedings at the Emirates take centre stage in the media.

Arsenal of course secured the high-profile free agent arrival of Willian earlier this summer, with William Saliba having also linked up with his new teammates in north London on the back of a year on loan at Saint-Etienne.

The latest on the situation of Dani Ceballos, meanwhile, was forthcoming earlier today, with the Spaniard all set for an imminent return to the English capital:

Bellerin on the move?

As outlined above, however, if the latest word stemming from the English media is to be believed, then the reshaping of Mikel Arteta’s squad ahead of the new season looks some way short of complete.

This comes with a series of updates, courtesy of Arsenal transfer expert David Ornstein, having been forthcoming online this evening.

The key talking point surrounds the potential exit of Hector Bellerin.

As confirmed by Ornstein, negotiations have been opened between the transfer chiefs at the Emirates, and their counterparts at Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain, over a potential move for the Spaniard.

It is added that, though, for the time being, Arsenal would actually like to hold onto Bellerin, a deal could be struck for the right price.

This comes with the north Londoners desperate to secure fresh funds to utilise in further moves of their own:

PSG approach Arsenal to sign Hector Bellerin & clubs now in dialogue. #AFC would like to keep him but will sell for right price. 25yo open to new challenge if deal struck. Could provide vital cash for targets. Details + Ceballos, AMN & more @TheAthleticUK https://t.co/pvg1QeLydS

An insight into exactly where the funds raised from Bellerin’s sale could be utilised, meanwhile, has also been forthcoming.

As we covered earlier today, Arsenal’s interest in luring Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey to the club remains.

Elsewhere, in equally exciting news for the Gunners faithful, it is also confirmed that discussions over a possible deal for Lyon standout Houssem Aouar are underway:

This would likely see Maitland-Niles stay & be 1st choice RWB, Soares back-up. Arsenal interest in Partey remains + discussions taking place over Aouar. Ceballos returning to London in coming days – hearing #RMFC will waive loan fee in exchange for #AFC paying full wage this time https://t.co/83xYC4KzFF
