Arsenal have this afternoon been handed a boost on the personnel front, in the form of Thomas Partey’s return to training.
City clash
Mikel Arteta’s men are set to return to action tomorrow evening, in the maqruee fixture of the Premier League weekend.
The Gunners will welcome Manchester City to the Emirates, for a high-profile showdown.
It is of course the visitors who will head into proceedings as overwhelming favourites to bag all 3 points in north London, amid a remarkable recent spell of form.
Their latest victory, over Everton on Wednesday night, saw Pep Guardiola’s City extend their winning streak to a hefty 17 games across all competitions.

Arsenal, on the other hand, have managed just a solitary win from their last five, at home to Leeds United last weekend.
Partey boost
As such, tomorrow’s hosts will no doubt have their work cut out, if they hope to secure any form of positive result versus the rampant Citizens.
As outlined above, though, just 24 hours prior to kick-off in the English capital, the Gunners have been handed a boost.
This comes in the form of Thomas Partey’s return to the training pitch, with photos of the Ghanaian looking in good spirits having surfaced online a short time ago.
It remains unclear whether Partey – who missed Arsenal’s last two outings after picking up yet another fitness issue versus Aston Villa – trained alongside the rest of Mikel Arteta’s squad, though.
His potential participation on Sunday therefore remains up in the air, though it appears highly unlikely that the former Atletico Madrid man will be risked, if not match-fit.

Others to have been spotted being put through their paces at Arsenal’s London Colney training centre include the likes of Kieran Tierney and Gabriel Martinelli:
