Manchester United starlet Shola Shoretire made history in taking to the pitch in the club’s meeting with Real Sociedad on Thursday, it has been revealed.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men got their European campaign back underway a little over 24 hours ago.
The Red Devils welcomed La Liga outfit Sociedad to Old Trafford, for the 2nd of a pair of Europa League Last-32 meetings.
It was of course the hosts who headed into proceedings as landslide favourites to book their spot in the competition’s next round, on the back of a comprehensive victory 4-0.
And, when all was said and done in Manchester, this is precisely what United managed.
A considerably more drab affair than last week’s thriller at the Juventus Stadium eventually played out into a 0-0 stalemate, after Mikel Oyarzabal blew a great chance for Sociedad to at least make things somewhat interesting with a 12th-minute miss from the penalty spot:

As outlined above, however, an otherwise routine evening for Manchester United on Thursday did prove special for one of the club’s young talents.
The player in question? Shola Shoretire.
The name of diminutive attacker Shoretire has taken centre stage at Old Trafford over the last couple of weeks, after the starlet first put pen to paper on the first professional terms of his fledgling career, before being handed his senior bow versus Newcastle last weekend.
Shoretire’s 2nd appearance for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men, meanwhile, swiftly followed last night, when he was introduced off the bench with 15 minutes to go.
And, in the process, the teen went on to etch his name into the history books of the Red Devils, as the youngest player to ever feature in the club’s colours in European competition:
