Didier Deschamps would name his latest France squad on Thursday afternoon.

France are set to kick off their 2020/21 Nations League campaign later this month with two ties.

Deschamps’ squad for said ties did have a couple of high-profile absentees, though, in the form of a pair of Premier League midfielders.

Both Manchester United’s Paul Pogba and Tottenham’s Tanguy Ndombele were completely omitted from the squad.
