Premier League rivals Manchester United and Tottenham have been credited with an interest in on-loan Fulham defender Joachim Andersen.
Cottagers stint
Danish international Andersen has of course been plying his trade in England since last summer.
On the back of a difficult debut campaign with Lyon, just 12 months on from the Ligue 1 giants breaking their club-record transfer fee on his signature, the 24-year-old linked up with Fulham on a season-long loan.
And the months since, for the most part, have since seen Andersen go on to showcase exactly why Lyon proved so keen to bring him to France in the first place.
The former Sampdoria man has established himself as an integral member of Scott Parker’s backline at Craven Cottage, amid Fulham’s battle against the drop.
Andersen’s leadership and passing qualities have proven a particular highlight, with the stopper, all told, having racked up a goal and an assist across 25 league appearances to date.

Old Trafford bound?
In turn, amid such an impressive start to life in England, speculation has inevitably already begun to spread surrounding Andersen’s future beyond the summer.
Fulham will no doubt be keen to hold onto the 24-year-old, but a permanent Craven Cottage switch actually coming to fruition, particularly if the capital outfit are relegated, looks altogether unlikely.
Andersen’s initial struggles to settle in France, though, could see Lyon attempt to cash in on their on-loan defender, whilst his transfer value remains high.
And, as outlined above, if OL do indeed opt to cut their losses, then it does not look like they will be short on suitors.
This comes amid claims that no less than three Premier League clubs are keeping a close eye on Andersen’s situation ahead of the summer.
The sides in question? Manchester United, Tottenham and Leicester City.
As per a report from the reliable Mike McGrath of the Telegraph, Lyon would be willing to consider offers of around £25 million for Andersen ahead of next season.
It is even suggested that one unnamed English outfit have already stepped forward with a serious inquiry for the stopper.
