Man City vs Southampton
Manchester City are back in Premier League action on Wednesday evening, playing host to Southampton.
The Citizens will head into the meeting at the Etihad looking to bounce back from a rare loss.
City had been on a 21-game unbeaten run, but that came to an end on Sunday when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United dealt them a 2-0 loss.
Despite losing to 2nd place United, the Sky Blues are still firmly in the drivers’ seat when it comes to the Premier League title race.
With just 10 games left to play, City still boast an 11-point lead over Man United.
They are also very likely to earn another three points on Wednesday vs a Southampton side who have only won one of their last 10 league outings, and even that win only came against PL basement dwellers, Sheffield United.
Guardiola on Sergio Aguero & Phil Foden
Ahead of Wednesday’s meeting, Pep Guardiola held his latest pre-match press conference on Tuesday.
During the presser, the Spaniard discussed a number of topics, including recalling Phil Foden and Sergio Aguero to City’s starting line-up against the Saints.
Both started on the bench in the United defeat, with Foden the only one to make it on the pitch.
But when quizzed on the pair being recalled during his presser on Tuesday, Guardiola gave little away:
“Maybe. I will decide tomorrow.
“I have an idea in general of the guys who will play but I have a few doubts. Tomorrow I will decide.”

The Spaniard also confirmed that Man City have no injury issues ahead of the clash with Ralph Hasenhuttl and co.:
