Sheffield United vs Liverpool
Sunday’s Premier League action is currently drawing to a close at Bramall Lane, as Sheffield United play host to Liverpool.
Jurgen Klopp’s side would head into the meeting in pretty dire form.
An injury-stricken Liverpool had fallen to defeat in their last four Premier League ties before Sunday
They have also, after a sensational unbeaten run there, now lost their last four meetings at Anfield.
Such dismal form has seen the Merseysiders slip down to 6th in the Premier League table.
But after West Ham and Chelsea, currently sat 5th and 4th, both dropped points over the weekend, the Reds had a great chance to regain some ground in the race for a Champions League spot.
Firmino squanders big chance
At present, though, Liverpool are still yet to break the deadlock in Sheffield.
The Reds have dominated the tie, and though Aaron Ramsdale has made some solid saves, Liverpool simply haven’t been clinical enough in front of goal.
One player in particular, though, has bore the brunt of Liverpool fans’ frustrations following the first 45.
That man has been Robert Firmino, who, when in possession of the ball facing an open goal, opted to attempt a cut-back instead.

I know I didn’t just see Firmino square it at an open goal, I know I didn’t, I can’t have, surely I didn’t, there’s no way I did
