Leeds are believed to be showing an interest in signing Chelsea forward, Michy Batshuayi.
Batshuayi’s Chelsea struggles
Chelsea secured the Belgian’s services back in the summer of 2016.
The Blues are understood to have paid Marseille around £33m for the hitman.
Such a fee at the time didn’t see too overpriced as Batshuayi had been in sensational form the campaign prior in France.
However, despite now spending four years on Chelsea’s books, Batshuayi has struggled to come anywhere close to recreating the form that made him such a desirable asset for Chelsea in the first place.
Instead, what followed was the Belgian being farmed out on a series of loans to Valencia, Borussia Dortmund and Crystal Palace.
The 26-year-old returned to Stamford Bridge this past summer as he looked to compete for a regular starting berth under new boss, Frank Lampard.
However, Batshuayi has once again struggled to garner any sort of regular football with his parent club, earning just one Premier League start throughout the whole of the campaign.

Leeds eyeing Batshuayi
And with Timo Werner now at Chelsea, Batshuayi looks to have fallen down the striker pecking order even further this summer.
Batshuayi is also out of contract next year.
As a result, Chelsea will no doubt be keen to move the centre-forward on this summer and invest that money elsewhere.
And according to the Evening Standard, Chelsea have recently been handed a boost on that front.
The report explains that:
Chelsea have been handed a boost in their efforts to sell striker Michy Batshuayi after newly-promoted Leeds United registered an interest.
Batshuayi previously worked under now Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa during his days at Marseille so a move up north could well be appealing to him.
No potential fee for Batshuayi is mentioned in the report. But given his short contract and his lack of minutes at Chelsea, you would imagine it will be nowhere near the £33m the Londoners originally paid for the striker.
