Leeds United star Rodrigo Moreno has, on Tuesday, confirmed that he has returned a positive test for Covid-19.
Vardy leads rout
Marcel Bielsa’s men were back in Premier League action a little over 24 hours ago.
The Whites welcomed Leicester City to Elland Road, for a highly-anticipated clash.
Both sides headed into proceedings having excited the masses over the early weeks of the campaign, courtesy of their respective brands of attack-minded football.
And, when all was said and done on Monday night, the 90 minutes of action certainly didn’t disappoint.
A breathless affair, altogether dominated by visitors Leicester, eventually saw the Foxes run out impressive 4-1 victors.
Jamie Vardy proved the star of the show, running Leeds’ backline ragged to play a direct role in the visitors’ first 3 goals. Youri Tielemans, meanwhile, bagged his first Premier League brace, with Harvey Barnes also on target.

Rodrigo blow
Leeds’ concerning defeat last night came with a number of the club’s summer additions unavailable for selection to Marcelo Bielsa.
Ahead of kick-off at Elland Road, the Peacocks confirmed that both Raphinha and Diego Llorente were set to miss out, with respective ankle and groin issues.
Also playing no part was hitman Rodrigo Moreno.
The Spaniard’s absence, though, came for an altogether different reason, with Rodrigo having recently come into close contact with an individual who subsequently tested positive for Covid-19.
As such, as per the Premier League’s protocols, the former Valencia man was forced to sit out, as he waited on the results of his own coronavirus test.
And, as outlined above, these results have since been forthcoming.
The news, though, is far from positive from a Leeds perspective.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday evening, Rodrigo confirmed that his Covid test has come back positive.
As a result, though he is thankfully ‘feeling great’, the 29-year-old will miss his 2nd-straight outing on Saturday afternoon, when Leeds make the trip to Selhurst Park to take on Crystal Palace.
