Chelsea vs Rennes
Chelsea return to action on Wednesday evening, aiming to continue their fine recent run of form.
The Blues have looked superb both domestically and in Europe of late, notching four clean sheets in a row.
After finding the back of the net seven times in their last two outings, meanwhile, Frank Lampard’s men are no doubt brimming with confidence ahead of their meeting with Rennes.
Chelsea will kick off at Stamford Bridge sitting top of their Champions League group, leading 2nd-placed Sevilla by goal difference.
As for Rennes, they are currently bottom of Group E, having picked up just one point thus far.

Lampard provides update on Pulisic
Ahead of his side’s upcoming outing, Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has provided an injury update on Christian Pulisic.
The American was withdrawn from the Blues’ starting XI prior to their meeting with Burnley over the weekend, after picking up a hamstring issue.
And now, fresh information has been forthcoming regarding his wellbeing.
Lampard has confirmed that the winger won’t be fit to feature versus Rennes.
The Chelsea boss also revealed, though, that the scan which Pulisic underwent on his hamstring unearthed only a ‘minor issue’, with the former Borussia Dortmund man already back on the training pitches:
Lampard is up first today and starts with an update on Christian Pulisic’s fitness: ‘He had a scan yesterday which showed a very minor injury to his hamstring and he’s already back outside. He won’t be fit tomorrow but we’ll see after that.’#CHEREN
