Fantasy Premier League 2020/21 Gameweek 10: Three in, three out

Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 10 is set to get underway on Friday the 27th of November.

The first clash of the weekend pits Newcastle United against Crystal Palace at 8 PM UK time.

As a result, your team must be locked in by 6:30 PM UK time on Friday.

Gameweek 10 will come to an end on Monday the 30th of November, when Leicester and Aston Villa face off.

Below are 101’s FPL tips for the upcoming game week.

Three in, including Man City midfielder

Kevin de Bruyne (11.6)

Kevin de Bruyne, and Manchester City for that matter, haven’t had a great start to the 2020/21 campaign.

The Belgian is fairly expensive and his returns are currently not justifying his price-tag.

However, this game week will see Manchester City take on Burnley.

The Clarets have a dismal record against the ‘big six’ clubs and Man City in particular.

In fact, since 1974, Burnley have beaten Manchester City in a competitive tie just once.

And in the last three meetings between these two sides, Pep Guardiola’s men have managed to net 12.

As a result, there is a good chance KDB could produce a double-digit return this time around.

Mohamed Salah (12.2)

Liverpool proved last week that even with a number of top stars out, they can still dominate even the best sides.

And this weekend, they will be facing a weaker team in the form of Brighton whilst also welcoming back their top scorer.

Mohamed Salah missed the win over Leicester in GW9 due to him testing positive for Covid-19.

But the Egyptian is now back available and will likely play some role against the Seagulls.

Graham Potter’s side have had something of a rough start to the season, managing to keep just one clean sheet in the league this term.

Bruno Fernandes (10.8)

Manchester United haven’t had an overly impressive start to 2020/21.

But even when the Reds are off the pace a bit, Bruno Fernandes is, nine times out of 10, the man who steps up to rescue his side.

Yes, you can argue that the Portuguese scores a lot of penalties. But in FPL it doesn’t matter how you score.

And with six goals and three assists to his name in the league already this campaign, Fernandes is now the third-best midfielder on FPL.

Three out, including  Man United midfielder

Marcus Rashford (9.5)

Whilst Fernandes is stepping up, Marcus Rashford probably isn’t justifying his price-tag right now.

The Englishman has scored just two and assisted three in the league this season.

That isn’t a terrible record, but at 9.5, you would be expecting a bit more from your midfielder.

Heung-min Son, for example, currently costs exactly the same as Rashford but is the top midfielder on FPL.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (11.6)

Through the middle, out on the wing, it doesn’t seem to matter where Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang plays this season he just can’t score goals.

Part of that, of course, is likely due to Arsenal’s serious lack of creativity this season.

But whatever the reason, you should really just be looking to sell Aubameyang as soon as possible.

The African has scored just two in the league this campaign and isn’t coming anywhere near close to justifying his price-tag.

Chris Wood (6.2)

The same could most certainly be said of Burnley’s Chris Wood.

Wood has generally been a decent budget option for your FPL side throughout the years.

But with Burnley struggling in 2020/21, Wood just isn’t producing enough to justify a place in your side.

You should instead look to sign someone like Patrick Bamford or Ollie Watkins.
