As confirmed online this evening, Timo Werner will not be available to feature in Germany’s upcoming meeting with Turkey.
Germany fixture list
Jogi Low’s men are set to return to action tomorrow night, as part of the latest international break.
First up for Die Mannschaft is a friendly matchup with Turkey in Cologne.
This, though, is little more than a warmup, ahead of a return to competitive action on Saturday.
In matchday 3 of their Nations League Group D schedule, the Germans face a trip to Ukraine, before welcoming Switzerland to the RheinEnergieStadion three days later.

Blues star ruled out
Whilst, under normal circumstances, Germany would no doubt have their fate firmly in their own hands after playing out their first two group stage fixtures in a major competition, thus far, their Nations League campaign has proven altogether underwhelming.
Low’s men are winless in Group D, having been held to a pair of consecutive draws by Spain and Switzerland.
As such, they will no doubt be eager to get as many points on the board as possible over the course of the week ahead.
But, as confirmed on Tuesday evening, Die Mannschaft, in their attempts to do so, could well be without a key performer.
The player in question? Timo Werner.

Jogi Low has since provided a further update on the situation, confirming that Werner has been forced to undergo testing for Covid-19.
The results, though, have not yet been revealed:
