Chelsea are set to get their European campaign back underway next week.

The Blues dominated their group, which included Sevilla, Stade Rennais and Krasnodar.

As a result, Chelsea were obviously more likely to be handed a more favourable draw in the last-16.

However, the Londoners were arguably handed the toughest possible draw for those who finished 1st in their groups, being pitted against Spanish outfit Atletico Madrid.

Atletico are having a sensational 2020/21 and currently sit top of La Liga having lost just twice in the league all season.

The first meeting between the pair will take place on Tuesday and should have been at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium.

Owning to the pandemic, though, the tie has since been moved to Bucharest:

UEFA has confirmed that Chelsea’s Champions League Round of 16 first leg match away against Atletico Madrid and will now be played at the Arena Nationala in Bucharest in Romania.

Moussa Dembele returns ahead of Chelsea

Ahead of Tuesday’s game, Atletico have been handed a boost on the personnel front.

Moussa Dembele joined the Spanish powerhouse during the winter window from Ligue 1 side, Lyon.

However, the Frenchman is yet to feature for Diego Simeone’s side, in part due to him testing positive for Covid-19.

But on Saturday, Atletico would confirm that Dembele has now testes negative for the virus and was part of their squad to take on Levante:
