England return to action

England are set to return to action in just over 24 hours’ time

First up, Gareth Southgate’s men are set to face off with the Republic of Ireland, in a friendly clash on the 12th of November.

The Three Lions will then play out their final two Nations League group games of the year.

After losing to Denmark during the last international break, England have slipped down to 3rd in their group.

Said ties will play out on the 15th and 18th of November.

Saka praises Kane

Bukayo Saka would be handed his first senior England cap during the last break, notching 76 minutes of action in a friendly vs Wales.

And the Arsenal star has once again been called up this time around, with the youngster no doubt set for at least some minutes in one of England’s three upcoming ties.

Ahead of England’s latest set of games, Saka has been discussing how it was settling into life with England.

And the versatile winger was quick to pinpoint the impact of Tottenham’s Harry Kane, and how much quicker his actions helped him settle:

“All the boys have been so good with me from the first minute I came in.

“Harry Kane put his arm around me, he spoke to me and asked me how I was. For him to do that, it helped me settle in much quicker and made me feel comfortable to be myself around everyone.

“That helps me not just off the pitch but also on the pitch too, because I feel like I can be myself, express myself and play with the confidence that I play with back at my club.”
