Updates on several Arsenal players have been provided on Wednesday ahead of their meeting with Benfica.
Arsenal vs Benfica
Arsenal will get their European campaign back underway on Thursday evening.
The Gunners would face off with Portuguese outfit Benfica in the first of two last-32 legs last week.
Arsenal would dominate much of the clash against a fairly out-of-form Benfica.
However, Mikel Arteta’s side were unable to come away with the win. Pizza would fire As Aguias into the lead inside 55 minutes.
The Gunners then hit back almost instantly through star man, Bukayo Saka, but were unable to add a second.
Arsenal are back on level terms, away goal secured, and it’s Bukayo Saka once again!
Lovely pass from Odegaard in the build-up 👌

Arsenal injury news
As a result, it is still very much all to play for on Thursday evening when Arsenal play out their ‘home’ leg in just over 24 hours’ time.
Ahead of said meeting, Mikel Arteta held his latest press conference on Wednesday.
The Spaniard would provide an update on a key player in said presser.
Mikel Arteta would speak about Thomas Partey, who has missed the north Londoner’s last three outings.
When speaking about the midfielder on Wednesday, though, Arteta confirmed he is very close and if he’s feeling good, he will be available:
“Thomas is very close. He’s got a final test today. If he’s feeling good he will be available to play the match.”

Arsenal will, however, be without Rob Holding for Thursday’s game:
Arteta says Partey has a late fitness test today. Could play tomorrow against Benfica.
Holding out.
