Arsenal’s travelling squad for the club’s Europa League meeting with Molde has been revealed, with places for a quartet of young talents.
Arsenal head to Norway
Mikel Arteta’s men are set to return to European action on Thursday evening.
The Gunners will of course head into proceedings in desperate search of a 3-point haul, to boost both their no doubted dented confidence.
Arsenal’s last two Premier League outings have seen the north Londoners majorly disappoint, first in an embarrassing 3-0 defeat at the hands of Aston Villa, and most recently in a 0-0 draw with Leeds this past weekend.

Nevertheless, despite their struggles of late, Thursday’s trip to Norway should see Arteta and co. come away with a comfortable victory.
The reverse meeting between the sides earlier this month eventually saw Arsenal emerge with a 4-1 win, to maintain firm control of the Europa League Group B table.
Youngsters travel
And, as outlined above, Gunners boss Arteta is one who evidently appears confident in his side’s chances of getting back on track versus Molde.
This is showcased by the Spaniard’s decision to call up 4 players from the club’s U23 setup to make the trip to the Aker Stadium.
Two of the youngsters in question will likely be recognised by Arsenal’s fans, in the form of Emile Smith-Rowe, who of course has previous experience with the club’s first-team, and Folarin Balogun, who was handed his senior bow versus Dundalk last month.
The remaining pair, however, will not be as widely known – Miguel Azeez and Ben Cottrell.
Azeez is a highly-regarded 18-year-old midfielder, whilst Cottrell, a more attack-minded midfielder, has thoroughly impressed with the club’s U23s of late.

Good to see Ben Cottrell included in the squad too after his impressive performances for the U23s. https://t.co/FEOFR3I0wr #UEL

Also included in Arsenal’s travelling squad are the likes of Matt Macey, Alex Runarsson, Shkodran Mustafi and Nicolas Pepe – who is expected to be handed a start ahead of beginning a 3-game domestic ban this weekend.
