All the concerning stats behind Liverpool’s latest worrying Anfield showing

Liverpool vs Fulham

Liverpool played host to Fulham on Sunday afternoon as they looked to put an end to their simply dismal form at Anfield.

After notching a 68-game unbeaten run at home in the league, Liverpool have since lost five in a row on Merseyside.

Such a poor run saw Liverpool slip down to 7th in the Premier League table ahead of kick-off on Sunday.

The Reds were also four points off a Champions League spot, with 4th-place Chelsea not in action still Monday.

As for Fulham, though they are in the relegation zone, they have actually been in decent form of late, losing just one of their last five.

So, with Liverpool putting out a fairly weak side, it did look as though Scott Parker’s side could well get one over on the champions.
